Super-Intelligence

3rd-level ability increase (base power only)

Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Self
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 hour

This is a super-ability. You must have the Enhanced Intelligence base power to take this power. You do not receive the power slot or prepared power that you gave up for Enhanced Intelligence but must give up an additional 3rd-level power slot and prepared power to take this power.

  • Whenever you make an Intelligence check, roll 2d20 and use the higher result. This does not count as advantage.
  • You always win opposed Intelligence checks against opponents without Super-Intelligence, but lose these same checks against opponents with Mega-Intelligence.
  • When you roll an Intelligence check, you can take a roll of 6 instead. At 5th level, when you roll an Intelligence, you can take a roll of 8 instead. At 9th level, when you roll an Intelligence check, you can take a roll of 10 instead. At 13th level, when you roll an Intelligence check, you can take a roll of 12 instead. At 17th level, when you roll an Intelligence check, you can take a roll of 14 instead.
  • As a bonus action, you can add 1d4 + your proficiency bonus to one Intelligence check. You can use this feature once per short of long rest. You gain an additional use of this feature at 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th level.
  • Once per long or short rest you can double your proficiency bonus when making an Intelligence check when using a skill or tool proficiency.
  • You also gain three bonus proficiencies that you may select from any armor type, language, skill, tool, or weapon proficiency.

Additional Options

  • You can give up a 1st-level power slot and prepared power to gain the Computer-Brain feature. Any Intelligence-based skill or tool check that requires more than a single round takes you half as much time. If you're working on a project with others and it takes a specified number of man-hours to complete, you can achieve 2 hours of labor every hour, though other participants can't.
  • You can give up a 1st-level power slot and prepared power to gain the Brain's Brainy Expertise feature. You choose two of your skill or tool proficiencies. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses either of the chosen proficiencies.
  • You can give up a 1st-level power slot and prepared power to gain the Supragenius feature. You are proficient in all Intelligence skills and Intelligence saving throws.
